7. Jurassic Park - Michael Crichton (I figured I should finally read it...I enjoyed it)
8. Dead Until Dark - Charlaine Harris (On recommendation from friends. Better vampire fiction than Twilight...Yay!)
9. The Chronicles of Chrestomanci Volume 1 - Diana Wynne Jones (This combines the novels Charmed Life and The Lives of Christopher Chant into one volume. Really good!)
10. Meet the Austins - Madeleine L'Engle (I have never read anything by her I didn't like. I'm trying to read all of her books this year.)

Great work! I've only managed to read about two books this year - and I just realized it was June already. Ugh. I read Jurassic Park years ago and I couldn't hardly put it down. I've read most of MC's other books since then.

Thanks! It's been a while since I've been able to read this much. I hadn't really been myself for a couple years, but it's all comin' back to me.

I picked up Jurassic Park cause I figured it's about time I read it...and loved it! I bought The Lost World but I haven't read it yet. I'm currently reading a book called Death By Black Hole and Other Cosmic Quandaries by Neil deGrasse Tyson. I really like his writing style.

I'll have to check it out. I read MC's Prey and it was pretty good too. Then I switched over to Dean Koontz. He had one called "Lightening" that I really liked and that made me want to read more of his books. Death by Black Hole sounds like something I would enjoy - I'll check it out.
